We've all heard of Batman- the self trained, self disciplined superhero who flies off into the night, fighting crime at the call of a light in the sky.  It seems clear to me that this is the pigeon version of him,off to save the world after downing a few rejuvenating bread crumbs fed to him by his Alfred Pennyworth.... ;)
